The CVII Summer Absolute Spanish Championship Open Astral pool 2019 - XLI Summer Junior Spanish Championship was held last August 3rd to 7th, in Terrassa. The Terrassa Swimming Club organized the event together with the Royal Spanish Swimming Federation RFEN, to take place in Tarragona’s Olympic pool.
780 athletes coming from 210 different clubs including 8 world cup athletes (swimmers for the Spanish team having participated in the Gwangju World championship) attended this high-level swimming chamionship. The event, structured in 9 sessions, brought together some of states’ best swimmers, technicians and internationally renowned clubs.
This event involved the inauguration of an LED screen in the Club Natació Terrassa enclosure, that broadcasted the event in real-time. Said screen also allowed the attendees to monitor the competition and swimmers’ results across several disciplines. male and female.
The Terrassa Swimming Club entrusted LED DREAM with this installation who took care of the design, supply, and installation of a spectacular LED screen made by Absen, one of the world’s most important manufacturers.
Covering an over 9m2 surface, the LED screen features adjustable levels of brightness of up to 5500 nits and a pixel pitch of 6mm SMD. Additionally, the screens receive a specific treatment ensuring their longevity in such a hostile environment as is a climate-controlled swimming pool, where temperatures and humidity levels are particularly high.
