Global Ports Holding Elevates Cruise Passenger Experience at Las Palmas Cruise Port with LED Screens by LEDDREAM GROUP

The new terminal at Las Palmas Cruise Port, operated by Global Ports Holding (GPH) alongside its local partner SEPCAN, marks a milestone in passenger care and positions the city as a premier international tourist destination. Additionally, it consolidates Las Palmas as a key hub for the cruise industry in the Central Atlantic.

This facility, part of the development that will become the largest cruise terminal in Europe, combines operational efficiency, comfort, and modernity, placing the Port of Las Palmas among the most advanced in the continent. The new terminal strengthens its position as an international benchmark for cruise tourism by integrating cutting-edge technology, sustainability, and operational excellence.

As part of its modernization and digital transformation strategy, Las Palmas Cruise Port has spearheaded this project with LEDDREAM GROUP installing large-format LED screens. A total of 50 m² of LED screens have been strategically positioned at the terminal’s busiest points, providing information and guidance while enhancing the passenger experience from arrival through transit. The technological installation was completed at the end of October last year, fully integrating with the renovation of Las Palmas Cruise Port’s cruise terminal.

Technological integration that transforms the passenger journey

The main hall houses the largest part of the installation, featuring a central screen that serves as a focal point for welcoming and informing passengers, marking the start of their journey through the terminal. This screen not only provides guidance and information but also reinforces the modernity of the space, becoming a visual centerpiece for travelers. To complement this experience and create a visually engaging environment, two additional screens have been strategically placed near the access staircase. Their positioning ensures visual continuity during passenger movement, naturally guiding the flow and making the journey through the terminal coherent and appealing.

All screens are manufactured by LG and installed by LEDDREAM GROUP, LG’s strategic partner, fully integrating into the terminal’s technological upgrade while enhancing functionality and modernity.
