Barcelona Supercomputing Center relies on LEDDREAM, Vogel's Products BV and Philips Professional Displays, for the installation of its audiovisual equipment
The Barcelona Supercomputing Center - Centro Nacional de Supercomputación (BSC-CNS) specializes in high performance computing (HPC) and manages the Mare Nostrum, one of the most powerful computers in Europe located in the Torre Girona chapel in Barcelona.
The BSC is at the service of the international scientific community and industry that requires HPC resources. Its multidisciplinary research team and its computational facilities, including the MareNostrum, make the BSC an international center of excellence in e-Science.
The challenge posed was to install several screens that could be easily transported from one meeting room to another and thus provide agility and efficiency to the scientists of the center.
For their meeting rooms they needed audiovisual equipment with easy-to-use supports, good design, quality and resistance.
Challenge:
- For each meeting room, it was necessary to have a screen installed in such a way that it could be easily moved from one room to another.
- They were looking for a mounting solution that combined an attractive design and, at the same time, resistance and reliability.
- The wheelbase needed to be as short as possible, with a narrow wheelbase.
Solution:
- We install several large format screens, which have more than 2 HDMI inputs, and FIAL OVER function and we also offer on-site after-sales guarantee.
- We use Vogel's Connect-it trolley holders, for their attractive design, strength, and reliability at the same time. In addition, another important feature was to take into account the wheelbase, it had to be as small as possible and with a narrow wheelbase to be able to move the screens easily.
