Huge luminous sculptures and artistic light installations illuminate Barcelona this Christmas
The Fira de Reis Gran Via is one of Barcelona’s most iconic fairs, and this year, its lighting has taken on new meaning thanks to the work of Artec Studio and Lumalia Studio. The design and concept of these artistic sculptures were led by Artec Light Studio, while our experiential lighting team, Lumalia Studio, was responsible for their fabrication, installation, and activation. The sculptures are made of steel and dichroic translucent methacrylate, creating stunning color effects both day and night. With a width of one meter and reaching heights of up to 2.6 meters, these geometric structures invite people to walk through and interact with them, offering a unique experience.

Inspired by the symbolic nature of children's gifts and the Three Wise Men, these installations are based on classic children's shape-matching games. They take the form of two large-scale geometric structures that encourage moments of pause, embrace, and interaction among children, families, and friends. Barcelona is now home to artistic pieces that blend creativity, cutting-edge lighting technology, and sustainability.
