With full-size natural grass pitches, warm-up areas, modern locker rooms, and spectator stands, the complex provides everything the first team players need to train at the highest level and develop their skills in a professional environment. The screen installed at Camp Tito Vilanova provides live information on plays, player movements, positioning, and individual performance metrics, ensuring visibility even under direct sunlight or stadium floodlights. This technological tool allows the coaching staff to adjust tactics instantly, correct errors in real time, and provide immediate feedback to players, optimizing performance and improving team coordination. Additionally, it facilitates the planning of more complex training sessions by combining real-time data with practical scenarios, game simulations, and personalized exercises that replicate match situations. Looking ahead to the 2025/2026 La Liga season, FC Barcelona has sought new opportunities to modernize Pitch 1 by incorporating a state-of-the-art display system that expands sideline analysis capabilities, integrates player tracking metrics and advanced tactical insights, and strengthens the team’s strategic preparation against each opponent.

Advanced technology for tactical analysis and athletic performance

LEDDREAM GROUP collaborated with PPDS (the provider for Philips Professional Displays and the new Spotify Camp Nou stadium) on the installation of the screen. For this project, the Philips Urban LED 7000 Series was selected, featuring a 3.9 mm pixel pitch that delivers vivid colors and deep blacks with up to 6,000 nits of brightness. It is dust- and water-resistant with an IP66 rating, offers flexible maintenance thanks to its modular design with front and rear access, and allows for efficient installation that adapts to available space and the training schedule. The 5.5 x 3-meter screen integrates seamlessly into the Camp Tito Vilanova environment, enabling precise tactical analysis and providing an impeccable visual experience for coaches, players, and attendees.

Thanks to this technology, training sessions have become more dynamic and efficient. Coaches can make tactical decisions on the spot, while players can visualize their movements to improve coordination, precision, and performance. The installation also allows for real-time evaluation of complete strategies, facilitating comprehensive team development.
