In collaboration with the renowned architecture firm Batlleiroig and the lighting design studio Artec Studio, Lumalia Studio has brought to life a dynamic surface of 1,100 m2. It is a testament to architectural integration and lighting design. The installation consists of over 200,000 pixels distributed throughout the space and meticulously mapped to function cohesively across the displayed content. The choice of RGBW LEDs provides extended color depth, and each element was custom-designed and manufactured for the purpose of the installation, from the panels and LEDs to the connection and distribution elements and the tensioned textile, all with the aim of adapting and integrating with the space. The remarkable surface that hybridizes this concept between lighting and low-resolution screen comes to life through content specially designed for this solution. This installation is a visual narrative that highlights the interaction between technology, creativity, and the architectural environment. The fusion of technical and artistic aspects creates a unique experience, redefining how light can transform and bring life to a space. The lighting design and concept were created and directed by Batlleiroig architecture studio in collaboration with Artec Studio lighting design studio, and the audiovisual piece production was designed by Trigelab. Meanwhile, the manufacturing, assembly, and installation of the digital canvas on the ceiling were handled by Lumalia Studio, with programming by ProtoPixel. Together, they succeeded in creating a new concept of dynamic lighting for this innovative installation integrated into the shopping center's ceiling.

A new concept of digital lighting integrated into the dynamic ceiling of the shopping center: it's a visual narrative that highlights the interaction between technology, creativity, and the architectural environment.

As part of this digital overhaul, the L'illa Diagonal shopping center has enlisted the services of Iwall in Shop to modernize its digital circuit by implementing large-format digital supports located in the mall, complementing the 25 opis the company already had. Iwall in Shop has collaborated with LEDDREAM Group for the supply, assembly, and installation of the LED screens distributed throughout the interior of the shopping center, enhancing the customer experience and attracting top-tier advertising companies. Among the digital elements that stand out in the corridor on the second floor are two impressive LED screens that create a stunning visual experience. Alongside the digital canvas of the ceiling, these screens attract visitors' attention in a chameleon-like manner. Among them, one LED screen with a total surface area of 17m2, with a brightness of 5000 nits and 3.9mm pixels, and the second LED screen with a total surface area of 10m2, share the same characteristics. A third screen of similar specifications will be installed in the coming weeks.

The ceiling of L’illa Diagonal transforms into a fascinating digital canvas, where abstract movements of masses of light and color dance in harmony, creating animated skies that seem to come to life.

To complete the experience, the re-styling is complemented by the upcoming installation of 5 P1.9 LED columns, each 1 meter wide by 2.5 meters high, offering exceptional brightness of 2500 nits. These are ideal for smaller spaces where high-quality content is sought to make an impact. One of these columns is already in place, and the remaining ones will be installed in the coming weeks. Furthermore, the advertising space marketing and content management at the L’illa Diagonal shopping center is led by the Digital Signage company Iwall in Shop. They boast a network of over 1,000 screens across more than 80 shopping centers throughout Spain and Latin America, with over 600 million visitors annually.
