The expectations generated by the premiere of the Integrated Systems Europe (ISE) have lived up to reality. The most important audiovisual fair in the world for the integration of professional AV systems, has ended with great success after a semi-face-to-face and more virtual edition in 2021, with a postponement from February to May and, in its 2022 edition, it has been the first complete event of ISE since February 2020, when it said goodbye to its previous headquarters in Amsterdam to move to Barcelona and has achieved a successful and highly anticipated result, leaving behind masks, antigen tests and distances, ISE has managed to attract a total of 43,691 face-to-face attendees from 151 countries, who made a total of 90,372 visits to the venue. Exhibitors have reported that the stands were busier than expected.

ISE 2022 returns with a vibrant and stimulating edition. Event highlights included seven ISE conferences with over 1,000 attendees, 800 booths from top AV brands including Sony, Sennheiser, Panasonic, Cisco, Google Meets, Zoom, Chrome, Lenovo, Samsung, Microsoft, Logitech , Canon, Epson, LG, Sharp or Intel. There has also been space for local companies, which have had the opportunity to play at home. In addition, ISE has also been noticed in the city, with the aim of making the industry known with two master conferences by Refik Anadol and Alan Greenberg, and two impressive projection mappings within the city of Barcelona, including a mapping in the Casa Batlló made by the artist Refik Anadol —and which has been auctioned for 1.38 million euros— and another in “Plaza España”.

1- Keynote: Refik Anadol: ‘Exploring the Heritage of Tomorrow’, will take place on May 10, the first day of ISE 2022, at 6:00 p.m. on the AV Experience Zone stage. Digital artist and pioneer in data aesthetics and artificial intelligence, Refik Anadol will present the keynote address at ISE 2022.

2. Alan Greenberg will participate with “Next Generation Immersive Entertainment”. on May 11 at 6:00 p.m. As CEO and co-founder of Illuminarium, Alan Greenberg is at the helm of an innovative global experiential entertainment company created by world leaders in immersive cinema, interactive content and theater design.

3- ‘I RISE’ at Plaça d’Espanya: an incredible immersive projection show will be screened that will explore themes such as hope, regeneration and renewal. Its creation and production comes from the hand of Flaix Studio, it can be seen every afternoon from Monday, May 9 to Wednesday, May 11, at 9:00 p.m.

4. ISE Immersive Art Experience: the ISE immersive art experience will be presented, following its collaboration with the award-winning Exhibition Hub in the creation of an exceptional 650m² virtual reality art installation located in the Fira Gran Vía, which will combine several of its award-winning immersive art experiences.

5. Special event on the façade of Casa Batlló: The digital artist Refik Anadol made this tremendous mapping on Casa Batlló as part of the Living Architecture festival. We show you the video.

After 16 years in Amsterdam, it was time for us to find a new home for our show, and in just two weeks’ time, ISE 2022 will open its doors at the Gran Vía, Fira de Barcelona”. ISE is a showcase for cutting edge visual and aural products and solutions where manufacturers and service suppliers will present the latest pro AV innovations developed for the commercial and residential market sectors.

Over 800 exhibitors, set over six Technology Zones across five halls of the Gran Vía will showcase the latest in multipurpose AV. Keynote Day One is from Refik Anadol: ‘Exploring the Heritage of Tomorrow’ at 18.00 on 10 May. Anadol is a world leading media artist and pioneer in the aesthetics of data and machine intelligence. He will give the Opening Keynote Address at ISE 2022. A special event will also happen on the façade of Casa Batlló on the evening of Saturday 7 May because of the collaboration between Anadol and OFFF Barcelona, a festival of creativity, art and digital design – and ISE 2022.

Keynote Day Two will be from Alan Greenberg, entitled: ‘Next Generation Immersive Entertainment’ on 11 May at 18:00.  As CEO and co-founder of Illuminarium, Greenberg heads up a breakthrough global experiential entertainment company created by worldwide leaders in cinematic immersion, interactive content, and theatrical design.

ISE will also proudly present the ISE Immersive Art Experience. For this year’s show ISE has worked with award-winning company Exhibition Hub to curate a unique 650sqm virtual reality experience art installation at the Fira Gran Via which combines several of its award-winning immersive art experiences. I RISE at the Plaça d’Espanya is a spectacular projection mapping show that will explore the themes of hope, regeneration, and renewal. The linking up of the two events will provide a unique opportunity to explore the crossroads between two different sets of disruptive technologies. More than 700 exhibitors confirmed at ISE 2022. The AV industry is preparing for an exciting, inspiring and safe ISE in sunny Barcelona and will take place at Fira de Barcelona from May 10 to 13. The event, organized by AVIXA y CEDIA, will offer attendees the opportunity to know first-hand about the world’s leading technologies and solutions.

A large number of exhibitors are registering to participate in ISE 2022, the destination where the world’s leading brands showcase the latest audiovisual technologies for professionals. More than 700 exhibitors have already engaged, including leading brands such as Barco, Crestron, KNX, Kramer, LG, Panasonic, Samsung, and Sony, among others. In addition, with the remodeling of the showroom there will also be a new Discovery Zone, which will highlight 40 new companies exhibiting for the first time.
